Bhavani Hops on the Plane with Elena to Cyprus

Last year, Elena (Barnet service user at Bramley House) and Bhavani (Manager at Bramley House) jetted off to Cyprus together.

Elena’s father decided that he would like to take Elena back to her family and roots in Cyprus. Elena discussed this with her mental health team and Baytree Care.

Elena and the team felt that although the trip would do her the world of good, it was a little early in her recovery to go alone. They decided that she would go with her key support worker Bhavani. Elena, Bhavani and Elenas father enjoyed a relaxing and unforgettable week in Cyprus. Highlights of the trip included meeting Elena’s family in Larnaca, sunbathing on white sandy beaches and sampling mouth watering local food.

They also enjoyed the serenity of the famous Trodos mountain and falls. Elena recalls "I felt so relaxed. I was happy that Bhavani was there to support me. I had nothing to worry about throughout the trip"
Baytree sends clothes to Tsunami Victims
In the aftermath of a global disaster, Baytree residents and staff joined forces to do their bit to help. Bhavani, manager at Bramley House, organised for clothes from Baytree to be sent to Sri Lanka to help the victims of the Tsunami earthquake disaster. The clothes were given to a temple in Edmonton who arranged for them to be shipped directly to the victims.
