Staff work on a rota system, ensuring that
at all projects there is a member of staff on site 24 hours
a day. The shifts are from 9am until 5 pm, and 5pm until 9am
including a sleep in shift. At Baytree lodge where higher
levels of staffing are required, an additional shift from
1pm until 9pm exists.

Staffs undergo an ongoing training programme.
A comprehensive range of topics is covered including mental
illness and medication. Baytree is committed to ensuring
staff are aware of the impact of mental illness on service
users, their families and society. All staff are offered
and encouraged to do NVQ courses in care related courses.
